The UR Nordic conveyor roller was especially developed for mining industries in the Canadian Arctic. The UR Nordic is available in a 5 and 6-inch diameter with 20mm, 35mm and 30 mm shafts. This roller is unique. It is the conveyor roller that uses the less rotation energy in the world, thanks to its synthetic oil reservoir which can withstand -65 °C temperatures. The UR Nordic conveyor roller was tested at -40 °C and has shown by far the best energy efficiency on the market.
The UR Nordic is also equipped with a 6-baffle labyrinth but of the dry-type to facilitate rotation. In addition, it is equipped with a Viton double-lipped seal. The first lip prevents any of the dirt from entering the cartridge. The second lip prevents oil from leaking out of the cartridge. The threads of the adjustment screw are sealed with a special nylon silicone.
